Dror Moreh’s The Gatekeepers, which was nominated for a Best Documentary
Oscar this year, won the Ophir Award for Best Documentary.
The Oscar nominations for Best Foreign Language Film Oscar will be announced in January 2014, so Israeli film fans will have to wait till then to find out whether Bethlehem will be in the running for an American Academy Award.
