Beata Konar Produktion is a Swedish film production company owned by director/ producer / journalist Beata Konar. The vision of Beata is to produce films with a humanistic commitment discussing important ethical, existential and social issues. The mission of Beata Konar Produktion is to tell stories that needs to be told, stories that makes people reflect about who they are, who they want to be, and what they expect out of life.
Beata Konar Produktion develops and produces fiction and documentary films for television and cinema, both for the domestic and for the international market. The company is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Beata Konar founded the company in 1998 after working as a movie director and journalist for five years. She was, among other things, producing documentaries at Swedish public service TV, SVT, as well as doing free lance work in journalism and movie making. Beata has a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from the University of Stockholm , a degree in Journalism from Mitthögskolan in Sundsvall, has studied movie making at the Stockholm School of Film and acting at Folkuniversitetet, Teater Lerjök & Kulturama, in Stockholm. Beata Konar is the founder of GRYF FÖRLAG(Gryf Publishing).
Beata Konar Produktion /Beata Konar collaborate with Despot Film /director /photographer /producer Miko Lazic (Stockholm), and with other movie makers, actors and musicians in various productions.
