Hitler’s Daughter is a documentary that tackles the subject of anti-Semitism in my native Poland. It’s the finger that points on something embarrassing, a spotlight on something that’s usually in the shadow.
I am making this documentary because one day I woke up and realised I had been deceived my entire life. I had been deceived by the Polish school system, I had been deceived by the Catholic Church and I had been deceived by my fellow Polish citizens. With my documentary I aim to stop this deception, reach out to as many people as possible and put a stop to the Neo-Nazi movements that are emerging not just in Poland but throughout the world.
My inspiration for this documentary has always been my involvement in the production of the Steven Spielberg directed film, “Schindler’s List”. Prior to being involved with this film I’d never even heard of The Holocaust. Working on the set as a 19 year old opened my eyes to facts that I previously had no knowledge of, facts that I started to explore further.
By exploring these facts further I discovered an anti-Semitic problem in Poland still exists and I want to do something to put a stop to it. I may not be able to change the world but I can expose the evil that hates the spotlight.
