Who Are We

Information Technologies of the 21st century will challenge the educational and professional systems in diverse ways. The mission of the Graduate Program in Information and Communication Technology is to bring students to excel in leading and implementing advanced technologies via school educational programs, organizations, and businesses in the most efficient manner.

The Graduate Program offers 4 tracks of training and research to students, which include a wide range of advanced technologies.

Distance Learning: Theories and tools for the design of on-line educational programs, both synchronic and asynchronic via the Internet or Tele-Conferences.
Television Studies: Theories and digital production tools.
Virtual Reality: Theories and tools for the development of virtual Immersive worlds.
Multimedia: Theories and tools in designing user-interfaces.

The Graduate Program in ICT & Education offers spacious laboratories with advanced technologies in order to help students learn and practice.

The main purpose of the program is to prepare students to research and effectively implement the different aspects of the aforementioned technologies. We believe that academic research on an advanced level, which combines functional knowledge in advanced Information and Communication Technologies, user-interface theories, and cognitive theories, will provide students with tools that will enable them to be future leaders in providing contents with ICT.

The fields of research that the faculty teaches are varied. Here is a sample list of some of the different fields that the program covers:

  • Future Cognitive skills in ICT
  • Virtual Reality & Teacher Training
  • Improving cognitive skills with Virtual Reality
  • Developing e-Learning teaching models
  • Studying the effectiveness of e-Learning courses
  • Theories for assessing digital content programs
